This class is a one-day workshop where we will be making wetskin from Chloroban, a SPF 50 fabric. It makes for great swimsuits and coverups such as rashguards. It's also great for cycling shirts.
Full day with a break for lunch. Bring a lunch!
This is an intermediate level course. Students need to know how to use their machines, and can assemble a garment without sewing lessons. You will need both a sewing machine and a serger for this workshop.
We will be using one of three Kwik Sew patterns for children.
Course content covered:
- Zipper insertion in stretch
- Swimsuit construction
- Elastic insertion
Fabric, thread, and elastic are available to purchase on site or you can bring your own stretch fabric to work with.
